Marriage for Mary

Marriages for Mary offers retreats tailored for couples preparing to embrace the Sacrament of Marriage in the Catholic Church. Our weekend-long courses, held at the Marriages for Mary retreat house in Metcalfe, Ontario, provide a serene and intimate setting for couples to engage in marriage preparation. Facilitated as retreats with opportunities for private discussions, our sessions fulfill the Archdiocese’s requirement for marriage preparation. Upon completion, couples receive a certificate recognized nationally and internationally, necessary for Catholic Church weddings. With a flexible capacity of one to six couples per retreat, we also offer accommodations for up to two couples, particularly for those traveling from afar. While there’s no fixed fee, we suggest a donation of $300, supporting our status as a registered charity reliant on the generosity of our donors and the couples we assist.
